Licensed, Year-Round Quality Child Care

Located on the Camp Jorn YMCA property, we offer a full day, year round quality child care program using a play-based curriculum which allows each child to grow at their own pace in the areas of social, emotional, physical and academic development.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Enrollment reserves: specific time and days, a position within an age-appropriate classroom, staffing to ensure your child is supervised and provided educational enrichment, and provisions for your child. No credit is given for vacations, holidays, child illnesses, inclement weather or acts of God. A $25.00 service fee will be charged for all tuition express payments or checks that are returned. Tuition is to be paid in full on the Friday preceding the next week of service. Failure to pay tuition may result in termination from the program and the account will be placed on the waitlist until paid in full. Your account will be charged a late fee of $1.00 every minute your child stays after 5:30 p.m. You will receive 5 days of vacation after the first payment of tuition. This vacation can be used whenever you please with no additional costs.

SCHOLARSHIPS

At Camp Jorn, we are thrilled to offer financial aid to those who qualify. Please note that to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must first apply for Wisconsin Shares. Families are then required to complete our online scholarship application form and submit the necessary documents to Jenn Davis at jenn@campjornymca.org. We will contact families within two weeks to discuss scholarship options once all information is received.

How much can I expect?

  • We offer scholarships up to 50% of the base rate. We do not have full scholarships.
  • For Child Care, scholarships are assessed for the duration of care, as long as funds are available.

OTHER RESOURCES

Wisconsin’s Child Care Subsidy program, Wisconsin Shares, helps families pay for child care. If the parent is eligible, child care can be subsidized for children under the age of 13 (up to 19 if special needs). Click here for more information!

CHILD CARE EMPLOYMENT

Camp Jorn Child Care and Preschool, located on Rest Lake in Manitowish Waters Wis. is looking to fill 2 full time positions. Each position is 4-5 days per week, no nights or weekends, has 7 paid holidays, generous PTO, and a package that includes health/vision/dental and Y-retirement.

The right candidates should enjoy working with children between the ages of 3 months and 12 years of age. This candidate should have a background in Early Childhood Education or be willing to be trained. This position also requires the employee to be 18 years of age, pass a background check and a physical.
