Day Camp Registration Opens December 2!

EVERY DAY IS AN ADVENTURE!

During the summer, Camp Jorn offers an 9 full week Day Camp program designed for children aged 7 to 12 years. For campers, 5-6 years old please click here to learn more about our new CJ Sprouts Program.

At Camp Jorn’s Day Camp, our goal is to ensure that every child feels welcomed. Campers who enjoy a mix of activities—from sports and crafts to swimming and nature—will have the chance to experience it all! Each week is filled with a range of activities centered around different themes, allowing campers to choose from options like crafts, large group games, archery, and much more!

Please review our immunization policy before registration.

Camp Jorn YMCA Goals

At Camp Jorn, our mission is to help campers grow, thrive, and develop into well-rounded individuals.

  • Personal Growth: Campers engage in challenging activities that encourage positive risk-taking, independence, and opportunities for success, helping them build confidence and a stronger sense of self.

  • Community & Relationships: Campers learn to make and maintain positive relationships with peers, fostering a supportive and inclusive sense of community.

  • YMCA Core Values: Campers explore and practice the values that guide us:

    • Honesty: Acting with sincerity, truthfulness, fairness, and integrity.

    • Respect: Showing consideration for oneself, others, and the environment.

    • Caring: Demonstrating compassion, understanding, and appreciation for others.

    • Responsibility: Taking ownership of actions, belongings, and camp property while persevering to complete tasks.

    • Personal Growth Campers develop four key areas—Compassion, Contribution, Commitment, and Character—to help them discover and become their best selves.

Our staff work closely with parents to determine each camper’s readiness and eligibility for specific programs.

We recognize that children develop at different rates, and some may need additional support. By partnering with parents, we ensure each camper’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development aligns with the skills needed for safe participation. Camp also provides age- and size-appropriate safety equipment—such as life jackets—and program equipment, including archery bows, to support a safe and successful experience.

Health & Safety Notes:

If your child has any conditions requiring special care — such as anaphylaxis, severe asthma, seizures, Type 1 diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, motor disorders, ADHD, autism, cognitive disorders, or other exceptional health conditions — please contact our CEO, Katy Bost, at Katy@campjornymca.org as soon as possible. This will allow us to review your camper’s health history and treatment, and determine if Camp Jorn can safely meet their needs.
