BUILDING CHARACTER AND CONFIDENCE SINCE 1953.

Every year, hundreds of people visit Camp Jorn for summer camp, field trips, meetings, and events. We’ve grown a lot since we were established along the shores of Rest Lake over 66 years ago – yet we still adhere to the same core values we’ve had since the beginning.

HISTORY

The property was purchased by the Lake County Family YMCA in 1952.

On August 30, 2007, Camp Jorn purchased its title from the Lake County Family YMCA and became an independent YMCA Camp!

Camp Jorn has been serving children from IL, WI and other areas throughout the country and across the globe since 1953.
