About our instructor Tyler:
Tyler has tested his brakes on mountain biking trails throughout the Southwest, including the Highline Trail in Sedona, Arizona; The Whole Enchilada in Moab, Utah; and on segments of the illustrious Arizona Trail. He also worked as a bicycle technician and tour guide at Grand Canyon National Park, where he led bike tours, maintained a fleet of 300 bikes, and even taught people how to ride. He holds a Wilderness First Responder certification.
Tyler thinks mountain biking is the best way to have fun while challenging yourself. He’s taken enough spills to know the dangers, though, and emphasizes safety and a steady progression of challenges above all else.
Activities will take place both on the skills course at camp and on the trails at WinMan.
We welcome mountain bike campers to bring their own bikes, or borrow one of ours. Please note, that if you decide to bring your own bike, you and your camper are responsible for transporting your bike to Camp. Unfortunately, our bus is unable to store bikes for transport.
